In a court, the judge makes decisions about right and wrong. The Bible clearly presents God as the Judge of all the earth. God exercises judgment on people who break his laws. God's laws are reasonable, but we break them. By nature we are all selfish, to varying degrees. The day will surely come when the Son of man will come in judgment.

Is it always wrong to judge a fellow Christian? On its own this verse seems clear, but look at the context. Jesus tells us to beware of false prophets. This is not judging hearts, this is looking at fruit with discernment.
