What we have here is a terrible indictment of man, how he can be so indifferent to the sufferings of his fellow human beings. Haman is not the only man who has ever been like this. This is not an easy subject, but it is here in the word of God for our benefit. We are going to learn some more about the depravity of the human heart. If you don't appreciate this you won't begin to understand what the cross was all about.
