Who is the Servant in Isaiah 49? And how can the Servant be called "Israel" while at the same time being sent to restore Israel? In this Bible study, we explore one of the most remarkable Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament. Isaiah 49 presents us with a fascinating puzzle: the Servant of the LORD is called "Israel" (Isaiah 49:3), yet He is commissioned to restore the tribes of Jacob and gather the preserved of Israel (Isaiah 49:6). The answer leads us directly to the Lord Jesus Christ.

What is the first resurrection mentioned in Revelation 20:4–6? Is it a future bodily resurrection that takes place before a literal thousand-year reign of Christ on earth, or is it a present spiritual reality experienced by all believers?
